  As a vet tech, I really appreciate the importance and intention you put into addressing getting the puppy used to being restrained and examined. It&apos;s so important for dogs to be able to be calm at the vet, it could literally save their lives!

  That moment when the trainer explained that the first 18 weeks don’t need to be stressful — and you see the puppy learning calmly, with treats and gentle guidance — really struck me as the right way to start. Puppies are at their most impressionable early on, so using patience and kindness instead of pressure helps them grow into confident, trusting companions. Watching a young pup respond eagerly to soft cues and positive reinforcement reminded me that training doesn’t have to be harsh to be effective — comfort and connection can be the strongest foundation of all.

  Honestly, I may have watched your videos something like over 50h all together. Maybe more. My partner and I are going to have a puppy in april, and I was looking for guidance. I&apos;m French and it&apos;s across the Altlantic that I found you guys, especially you Kayle; <br>I can&apos;t thank you enough. For your enthusiasm, your kindness and generosity sharing all those videos.   I watched these videos as they originally came out. &nbsp;Having the whole series in one video is very helpful to see what the end goal is in 18 weeks!

  Picking up my lab pup this morning. As I’m a wheelchair user and living alone it’s going to be a bit of a mission but we shall see how it goes.

  Great vid! &nbsp;We have a new pup who has a crate with a pen around the crate (crate door always open for the time being). &nbsp;At first the pup yipped and wailed and barked while in the pen, and we entirely ignored it so he would not get a reward for his noise. &nbsp; He’s running around the house a lot of the day and when it’s time to put him in his pen, I drop some favorite treats just inside the wire pen fence. &nbsp;The puppy looks and scratches at the fence, wishing to get into the pen to get his treat, before he’s placed in the pen. &nbsp;The purpose of this is to develop the mindset that he’s “asking to go into his pen”, so that when I’m putting him in there, he’s eager to go in (to get the treat) rather than feeling like he’s just being put in there against his will. &nbsp; It took a few days, but the wailing and barking has 95% stopped, and he’s a happy little camper. &nbsp;We will eventually have him sleep in the bedroom, but for now he sleeps in his crate in the living room and the reason is that I heard that Cavaliers (he’s actually a cavapoo) can have separation anxiety, so we are getting him accustomed to being by himself at night and for short periods during the day. &nbsp;He’s doing absolutely great, and what a cutie. &nbsp;Thanks for all your vids!

  I&apos;ve had dogs almost all my adult life (I&apos;m now 71) and we&apos;re about to get a new pointador! Your videos are THE BEST reminders, updates and pro tips for raising great dogs. Thank you SO MUCH for putting all this content out there!
