  For those unaware:<br>In the earliest version of 40k, the 2nd and 11th legions were the &quot;create your legion&quot; sub-factions for the space marines. One traitor and one loyalist. When GW scrapped that, lore was made up to explain their absence.

  The thing I find hilarious about the Salamanders, and the reason they&apos;re my personal favorite. Aside from the fire motif, is the irony that in a world full of &quot;knights&quot; that are some of the worst examples of heartless monsters and savage beasts, the &quot;dragons&quot; are the ones who show genuine compassion across the board.

He stared right into my eyes and muttered &quot;Heresy...&quot; and we both chuckled. Fun encounter

  It&apos;s incredibly hilarious how the 1st legion makes you question their apparent loyalty while the 20th makes you question their apparent betrayal.

  My father use to play a lot with Blood Marines. When ever one of his friends started to annoying him about something he will pull out a Horus picture an start to say: You know, right now you are looking a lot like him..

  Each primarch has a special power Angron was an empath, magnus can shoot the second best mind bullets in the galaxy, sanguinius can fly, perturabo can take anything apart and put it back together, while Guilliman has the greatest power, the ability to use both hemispheres of his brain at the same time.

  Back in the day when Space Marine had an active multiplayer I heard a story from a friend about a clan he talked to in a party chat.<br>At some point he asked them what they’re called to which one said, “we are alpharius.”<br>Then the whole party in unision echoed and answered as one, “we are all alpharius.”<br>That story gives me a chuckle every time I think about it.

  Little fun fact about the White Scars. When Khan first took over the legion he demanded that each marine take up a hobby to perform during down time. Didnt matter what it was, just something to do so you dont get bored. Canonically, there are some white scars who have taken up things like knitting, crocheting, and needlepoint and genuinely enjoy them. Even poetry and song writing, most about Khan, the White Scars as a whole, or the Emporer.
