  No one probably cares or is going to see this because of how old this video is but the shirt at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AXv4Y87ocLY&amp;t=459">7:39</a> was for an African American regiment in WW1. They were the 369th regiment nicknamed &quot;The Harlem Hellfighters&quot; and their motto was dont tread on me hence the logo on the shirt. When I saw it I thought it looked familiar because I had just finished a book on them. Quite fascinating (but that is coming from someone who is studying history in college with a specialty in world wars).

  I recognize a lot of that damage as being consistent with damage sustained when boxes break open in transit. I work in a shipping facility and our belts and other metal death traps take the lives of packages from time to time.

  I work for UPS in the package service Center. There’s a lot of clothes and small items that get caught in the belts that move the items across the warehouse. So those black marks and tears are what we call “belt burn”.
