Gundry's stylish glasses and tie are a feast for the eyes. He seems to have an excellent sense of aesthetics. The content is good, but the visuals and colors are also really beautiful. I have read Gundry's book twice, but watching the video makes me realize things even more.☺

Post made April, 9, 2026<br><br>In this video, Dr. Steven Gundry provides a comprehensive guide to his 'Yes and No' list for gut health. He explains the rationale behind his dietary recommendations, focusing on the impact of lectins—proteins in plants that can cause inflammation and disrupt the gut lining—and polyphenols, which support healthy gut bacteria.<br><br>Key Takeaways by Food Category:<br><br>• Vegetables: Dr. Gundry recommends cruciferous vegetables like cabbage, broccoli, and kale (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=181">3:01</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=234">3:54</a>) and high-fiber options like artichokes (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=243">4:03</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=298">4:58</a>). Conversely, he cautions against legumes, beans, and nightshades (such as eggplant and tomatoes) unless they are pressure-cooked to neutralize lectins (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=107">1:47</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=180">3:00</a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=301">5:01</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=355">5:55</a>).<br>• Fruits: He emphasizes the importance of eating polyphenol-rich fruits like pomegranates, berries, and stone fruits (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=356">5:56</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=411">6:51</a>), while advising against fruits like cucumbers and squash (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=326">5:26</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=355">5:55</a>).<br>• Sweeteners: Allulose is recommended for its prebiotic benefits (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=488">8:08</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=553">9:13</a>), while agave is discouraged due to its high fructose content (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=424">7:04</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=487">8:07</a>).<br>• Oils: He recommends extra virgin olive oil for its high polyphenol content (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=611">10:11</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=689">11:29</a>) and warns against processed seed oils like grape seed, soy, and sunflower oil (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=554">9:14</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=610">10:10</a>).<br>• Dairy & Alternatives: The focus is on A2 protein dairy or traditional European-style cheeses like Parmigiano-Reggiano, whereas standard American cow dairy is discouraged (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=690">11:30</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=843">14:03</a>).<br>• Nuts & Seeds: Pistachios are highlighted as a gut-friendly snack (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=895">14:55</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=965">16:05</a>), while almonds are only recommended if blanched or peeled to remove the lectin-rich skin (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=844">14:04</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=894">14:54</a>).<br>• Starch & Grains: He advises avoiding grains like quinoa, rice, and wheat (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=1108">18:28</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=1164">19:24</a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=1238">20:38</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=1309">21:49</a>) in favor of resistant starches like sweet potatoes and cassava (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=1168">19:28</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=1237">20:37</a>).<br>• Protein & Extras: Wild-caught seafood, pastured poultry, and extra dark chocolate (72% cacao or greater) are encouraged (<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=1363">22:43</a>-<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo&t=1423">23:43</a>)<br><br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AX__XQiBjLo">https://youtu.be/AX__XQiBjLo?si=vovnlTF76VbRw3q9</a>

The tomatoes and many of the other "bad ones" just seems to not really make sense, since the mediterranian countries in southern europe litterally eat them every day.. If they were that bad, i dont think they would have great health and live longer than most. <br><br>I believe the body also needs some things that "battles it" a bit , to make it stronger..
