Everyone is captivated by Stevie Nicks and her intensity. Rightfully so. But focus on Lindsey at the end. He leans into her performance, locking eyes with her, not shying away in spite of being the subject. And then, he raises the intensity with her, nodding his head, pushing her to release it- all of it. This is something that can only be done by somebody that intimately knows the other- their history was far deeper than just a love relationship for a few years. These 2 were connected, and have always been. It undoubtedly produced the most poignant serious heartfelt moment in live music ever, and he knew it would- that's the genius of Lindsey Buckingham, and I'm sure that drive and seriousness was what made him probably emotionally unavailable when Stevie needed it.
