CONGRATS ANTHONY!!!! THE PASSION IS ABSOLUTELY ENERGIZING AND WHAT A JOB ON THE ROD!!!! They are a helluva creature, we routinely catch them on the bottom in 1600 ft of water but there is nothing more boring than watching one rod hoping for a tiny twitch, anyone can do the daytime deep dropping but this is next level

What an amazing catch. You could tell it was a very meaningful catch. We see swordfish on the surface from time to time in south FL off Ft. Lauderdale. It is a rare occurrence but they do come up from time to time and i have even seen them free jumping.
