  My husband and I had visited Cambodia twice before we decided to do an exploratory trip - just like you’re suggesting here  - last December/January. We stayed in two different places, one in BKK1 the other in TTP. Walked these districts extensively each day, tried out different restaurants, explored grocery stores with western goods, even looked at a few apartments. Checked out the availability of nearby hospitals, pharmacies, went to see a movie …jadah jadah jadah. Altogether this was a successful trip for us, we ended up feeling encouraged to retire to Cambodia (although frankly we are still 1-2 years out from making the actual move). We are currently living in Los Angeles and are definitely looking forward to this upcoming retirement-adventure for sure. Thank you for delivering all this great content…I’ve been watching your videos for a few years now!

  Great info.  Yes, you should field test Cambodia before permanently move there.

  Great perspectives as always about the KOW!<br><br>We&apos;ve been using our Schwab atm card for over ten years during our travels - There are no monthly fees, no minimums, and no foreign transaction fees for currency conversion. Fees charged by other ATM operators are automatically reimbursed at the end of each month. <br><br>Expats who thrive there are flexible, open-minded, and adaptable to the locals. &nbsp;If you could eat, travel, and sleep like the locals, you could even stretch the mighty $$$ much further. &nbsp;There are always options in life as it&apos;s too short to do the things we don&apos;t always love doing but life is very precious.<br><br>My feet are getting itchy and I need to comb my hair now. &nbsp;Gas price here is around $3.50 per gallon so it&apos;s not too bad, eh. &nbsp; We&apos;re still getting wet snow today but spring is just around that corner. &nbsp;Chills from Minne-Snowta!

  My ferry caught on fire. &nbsp;Smoke everywhere. I couldn’t find any life jackets. Worried for elderly. &nbsp;But captain got fire out. &nbsp;Wonderful. &nbsp;Land of chaos.🙏🌵🌵🌵🐘

  oh I love Kampot, it was cool to see the same coffee place where you went, I didnt know about the boat Kampot to Koh Rong, oh well I explored Sihanoukville and took the boat from there !
