  My first return trip from Minnesota was in 1995 after the country was officially open up to the world to search for my long lost loved ones. &nbsp;The roads and bridges were destroyed from prolonged wars with giant potholes every where and the driving was like the highway to hell then. &nbsp;Glad to see the country has been developing within the last 20 years with the brighter future ahead and people are moving on with their daily routines. &nbsp;<br>I&apos;ve returned to visit my only surviving sister every year who currently still lives in Phnom Penh since my early retirement in 2013. &nbsp;Phnom Penh also where I grew up during the 60s as a teenager and it was so peaceful and quiet with only a few cars, some mopeds, and a lot of bicycles then. &nbsp;It feels just like yesterday. &nbsp;Peace out from a war and genocide survivor!

  Kampot should have built a green park space by that river instead of a beach. &nbsp;When the water rises the sand washes away. You have to keep refilling the sand.
