An obviously loving husband and father, great credit due to the gentleman. Such empathy shown by both presenters who handled a difficult discussion with no small amount of sensitivity and compassion.

My partner had this n it took 2years to  be told it was this and we  knew it was something more then just Dementia he passed away after 5yrs with it then  he died 5 years ago It took alot out of me as my mam passed too n was caring for them.😢😢

Thank you for this video. My boyfriend was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2021. He started having hallucinations. His sister took him to her house. He tried to get out of her house because he wanted to go to his house. His sister cut off communication between him and me last July. No one knew he had LBD. The doctors didn’t diagnose him correctly. I haven’t known where ge was and finally found out he was in a nursing home. I searched for him and finally stumbled on to him on Facebook at a nursing home. My niece took me to see him but his niece wouldn’t  let me see him.  I’m devastated and don’t understand why I can’t see him. Im depressed abd find it hard to function.

No help for carers. Dementia I found is very dismissed ! Long long way to go yet let me tell you . I’ve seen the carers go down first before their loved ones

My mother had no Parkinson’s with Lewy body dementia. The way it was explained onto us there’s dementia that’s the umbrella term u Dee that umbrella there is alzemeirs, Lewy body dementia, picks dementia. And yes my mother had horrendous hallucinations and complete memory loss also . Horrendous
