  The best part about this hobby is there is enough room for everyone. I was just at a very large card show this past weekend. You have your vintage collectors, memorabilia, people getting autographs from the stars at the event, every sport, people grading, people breaking, collectors, flippers, young people, old people, even girls all running around playing their game enjoying the day. Over the years I thought to myself, I remember how it was when I was a kid in the 80s-90s when the hobby was booming and how much fun we had. As my son was growing up I thought my kid is never going to see how much fun we had. Now that hes a teenager we go to shows together and as I look around the card shows in the past 2 years I can say its back baby!!!

  Breaking negatives:<br>1. Creates perfect environment for junk wax to flourish<br>2. Gambling like tendencies disguised as hobby enthusiasm <br>3. Distorts reality of what cards are truly valuable, and which are not.<br>4. Amplification of FOMO to drive up break spot prices <br>5. Promotion of overspending on cards<br>6. Gives people just getting into hobby a false sense of value<br><br><br>I can keep going on and on!!!!<br><br>Btw: I&apos;m with Ty on this one

  I don’t have a problem with flippers. &nbsp;I just have a problem with how a lot of people flip, mainly on whatnot. &nbsp;Some cards will go over price, some under. Not a big deal. &nbsp;What bothers me is how many of these sellers will falsely advertise a card saying “this is such a steal price,” &nbsp;or “this card is way bigger than this” in the middle of auctions that mislead people who are not as knowledgeable. &nbsp;The buyers think they are getting something they like at a somewhat fair price, or even a “massive steal.” &nbsp;It puts a bad taste in new collectors mouths and it’s gotten really bad on there, like most major streamers just flat out lie or even get upset if a card doesn’t go way over price. &nbsp;I learned the hard way until I became more knowledgeable and I don’t like seeing so so so many others get completely fleeced. &nbsp;Now I only bid on a card if it’s something I want, and I know the approximate value and place a max bid at a good price. &nbsp;But most newcomers on there just get robbed blind and the outright lying and deceit is kind of disgusting. &nbsp;That being said there are some good ones on there too, just unfortunately few and far between comparatively
