😂 After this we let Dad control an NFL team… this was chaos: https://youtu.be/RQB9xNO4s5s?si=K91IWC2-yOB-7_w7

Everyone who leaves the military service is "discharged". It just means that your contract has ended and you have been released from service. Night Train had completed his requirement and been released.

The fact that Ronnie Lott isnt on this list is crazy. The guy literally had his finger cut off after injuring it so he could keep playing instead of going out on the injured list. You need to watch a video on Ronnie Lott.

A lot of these hits were legal back then but the NFL has tried to protect players more every year by making them penalties, suspensions and fines

12:10 Dick Butkis was well respected. Off the field he was a gentleman.

Solo tackles are when you tackle someone by yourself. Assisted tackles are when you and another person(s) tackle someone. Combined tackles are solos + assists

The Steelers are known for their defense. Almost all of their superstars of the years are defensive players. They have had one of the best defenses in the NFL every year since the 1970's.

I dunno if he’s on this video cause I haven’t finished it yet but you’ve gotta look up bill romanowski. An unhinged lunatic who bullied everyone- discovered steroids later in his career and went even crazier

Off the field Earl Campbell was the kindest, most humble almost shy guy you’d ever meet. I was once at a restaurant where he was treating about 6 underprivileged kids to dinner. He and “Mean Joe Green” were both from Texas. Joe was much the same off the field.

The Steelers are known for being one of the toughest teams, even today they are one of the most physical teams
