  His a LAIR!!! The King would never say that!!! Specifically to him! This man is a terrible person! He forgot to mention in his book he didn’t have a good relationship with his sister! Disgusting!!

  I can't help but to believe Earl Spencer.  BUT I also believe Prince Charles was grieving.  I watched on TV how Charles's flew to Paris and brought Diana home.  :glasses-purple-yellow-diamond:

  The day the book was announced, another royal watcher author, was interviewed on "Palace Confidential". He claimed he had contemptoraneous notes that corroborated everything Charles Spencer wrote. This is all, after the fact, spin control by the Palace to shield the selfish conceited King. This all jibes with the eulogy Spencer gave, which ended with... Diana will never be, and I will never let her be, forgotten. I believe Charles Spencer.

  He has obviously consulted with  lawyers, as one would expect. It is very possible that when trying to be careful on the wording he chooses  his narration would come out less “natural”. Also, the way he relates the specific phone conversation, with the details, does not seem weird to me: he wants to be precise and probably he spent some time recollecting it from his memory the way we do when we try and bring back the details of something that happened long ago. Is it painting a story? Yes. Does it mean the story is fake? No, not necessarily. I personally do believe him. There is no reason why he should come out with something like this if it wasn’t true.

  Have never liked Charles Spencer and he has just confirmed why. He is not a man to be respected. King Charles is not my favourite person either and do not accept the way he treated Princess Diana. Charles Spencer cosying up to his disgraced nephew and his vile wife, is kicking his sister in the face - respect his sister - no- he is putting the needles in King Charles, Prince William and Kate. My opinion and feelings 100 percent.

  I bought the book and I'm glad I did. The then-Prince Charles was a horrible husband to Diana and it's not rocket science that he'd be dismissive of her in death.

  IMO Charles looked extremely upset when he was in the car. Not sure if it was going to France or on his return. I remember thinking he clearly did care for her which I was shocked by.

  I won’t buy or read the book !! In my opinion if what he wrote were true then Why Wait 15 years to write it ! He is no better then Harry both of them are trying to gain sympathy and money on the death of Princess Diana it makes me sick
