  The fact that Hulk has probably suffered the most out of most of the Avengers, by being abused by his father, being hunted by the military,  suffered from disassociative identity disorder and feared by everyone and his cousin Jen, She-Hulk, had the nerve to compare the Hulk's trauma to getting freaking catcalled

  Bakuman had an entire chapter warning about this type of thinking nearly 20 years ago. The two main characters are the writer and artist behind a Manga in &quot;not-Shonen-Jump&quot; and after looking at the readership surveys, they find out that around 60% of the people responding who list their Manga as a favorite are girls. So they then decide to cater more to a shoujo audience. The editor IMMEDIATELY rejects the chapter they turn in, reminding them that they&apos;re in a SHONEN (Young Boys) magazine, and even though they have a relatively large audience of young girls, they need to remember that the girls reading their manga are GIRLS WHO LIKE MANGA MADE FOR BOYS. The girls who like their manga also liked it for the same reason that the boys who liked it did.<br><br>The same thing can be said about Star Wars and Marvel. Yes, there are definitely girls who liked both beforehand. But they liked it as it was originally. Trying to appeal to more women is just going to backfire, because the ones who did like it in the first place are a different demographic than the ones you&apos;re trying to appeal to.

  As a Gen Z man, it offends me that they consider me as someone who is “game-obsessed” and “lonely” and “hampered by covid 19 lockdown”. While those are all true, I do still go outside and work and take nice walks and workout. The assumption that I, a Gen Z man, is still hiding inside and lonely and game-obsessed just shows how little they think of young men and teens in my generation, and that’s rather upsetting to me.

The problem is that DIsney went out of their way to SABOTAGE Treasure Planet.<br>They wanted this movie to bomb because the executives wanted to shift entirely to 3D CGI animation, and in order to justify that to investors and shareholders, their 2D animation had to BOMB! And so it did.

  Fun thought here:<br>When the political ideal was &quot;Strength of Character matters more than Race/Gender/Etc&quot;, we had strong, well-written, complex characters regardless of their race/gender/etc.<br>When the narrative became &quot;Race/Gender/Etc matters more than your Strength of Character&quot;, we started getting one-dimensional, badly written, &nbsp;weak characters.

  Bruce Banner was severely physically and emotionally abused by his hyper violent alcoholic father throughout his childhood starting from when he was just an infant, and was forced to helplessly watch him physically abuse his mother right in front of him for years and years and years. Eventually it got to the point that as a child he started to believe himself to be a literal monster (as his father repeatedly told him he was between beating him and his mother with bloody fists). <br><br>When he and his mother finally attempted to escape from the abuse, his father smashed her head into the pavement outside their house and killed her right in front of the young Bruce Banner, and then threatened Bruce to lie in court about what had happened so he wouldn&apos;t go to prison (which Bruce did out of pure fear of what his father would do if he didn&apos;t).<br><br>The &quot;Hulk&quot; is that part of the personality that was developed via all of the childhood trauma he experienced as a direct result of this extensive childhood abuse. Which is why the Hulk is &quot;so angry&quot;. It is the rage and guilt and hatred of a child that developed from not being able to protect himself and his mother from continual repeated violence inflicted upon them which eventually lead to her death. The Gamma Bomb accident just released that created split personality which inhabits the Green Goliath known as the Hulk.<br><br>But sure, getting cat called and having your field of expertise explained to you by morons would make you equally as angry (infinitely more than Bruce apparently) as well I guess.
