  <b>Why Angelina always performs barefoot</b><br> <br>At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. &nbsp; Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. &nbsp;Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. &nbsp;The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. &nbsp; Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. &nbsp;<br> <br>Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” &nbsp;Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. &nbsp;The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. &nbsp; The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. &nbsp;<br> <br>Angelina never learned the orphan&apos;s name but called her Princess. The orphan girl replied, &quot;princesses live in castles, we live in ruins&quot;.
