For anyone interested: people are organizing a call for the song "Heal the World" to be played worldwide on June 25th at 2:25 p.m. (Los Angeles time).

Thirty years have passed and this place is still a tourist attraction here in Brazil. We receive tourists from all over the world because of Michael. His legacy will never be forgotten here; in fact, we erected a statue in his honor at that very spot. The glasses on the statue are constantly stolen😭❤

This was filmed in Rio . The authorities didn't give permission to film as it would be too dangerous. But the gang leaders in the Favelas promised protection because he was Michael Jackson.

It doesn’t surprise me that you never heard this song, it doesn’t get promoted, MJ is calling out the injustice that he had to deal with and spitting facts that the authorities don’t really want to hear

Gen Z discovering MJ makes me genuinely so happy! You can't even imagine the chokehold this man had on us back in the day ,myself included. I've even got to see him perform live 😎

This song became a classic here in Brazil. Today there's a statue of Michael in the favela where he sang in Rio de Janeiro. And a huge poster on the balcony of the historic building where he filmed in Bahia. The group that plays the drums and dances is Olodum, a very famous musical group in Brazil. Years later, there were reports interviewing people who lived through that time and knew Michael personally. His visit to Brazil in 1996 was a big deal and mobilized authorities. (Legale e ilegals)

The “Jew me, sue me” Part was about how Michael was accused of being an antisem*** after going against Sony. They lied of course, as Michael was never r@cist… but just like today, people are accused of that when people want to ruin them
