  The video starts off with “Don’t go out and purchase expensive furniture!” But everything in this video was expensive for someone just starting out. I am an interior designer and would advise shopping at HomeGoods or any TJX stores. Facebook marketplace will be your best friend. There are a lot of good quality furniture, gently used, or upholstery that can use a really good cleaning and look brand new. Trust me, I’ve done this many times. Remember that with each stage, your items become more and more used. It’s not about expensive furniture, you have to pick out good quality items for a low price. My professor always said “You don’t need a lot of money to design a beautiful house, you have to know how to put it all together.”

  I am staging my house with household items bought for a fraction of this from the charity shop(thrift store).<br>It’s how you put them together, by adding plants and things you already have.x
