  This is a great informational video. I especially like the part about the mis informational 1970 351 HO since I am restoring a 1972 R code mustang with a 1972 351 HO.<br>I wish they found more actual Ford and Cleveland engine photos and video clips for the Cleveland with internals with each distinction to go along with the audio presentation, leaving out the 4 cylinder junk. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7e_Xxv3SlQ&amp;t=283">4:43</a>

  The 351 Cleveland &nbsp;4v is my all time favorite engine. &nbsp;I have a 71 mach 1. &nbsp;That produced 615 hp. The engine design was ahead of it&apos;s time and was outlawed in trans AM racing because it would usually win. It was only made from 1970 to 1974. They are highly sought after in drag racing.

  Back in 1984 or 1985, during my High School Years, my Best Friends Dad ran an Autobody Shop, who got an amazing deal on a 1973 Ford Mach 1, that had a Factory, 351 Cleveland, 2V Engine, that didn&apos;t Run... 🤔 <br><br>So they found a used, 1970, 351 Cleveland, 4V Engine, to replace the Original Factory 2V Engine!!! <br><br>I&apos;m adding this after the fact, to make a correction. I spoke with My Buddy after making this post, and he corrected me, That information is below... <br><br><b>*The 4V Cleveland he replaced the original 2V with, was actually a 1971 model, and it was a Real, Factory, Ford, 351 Boss Engine*</b> <br><br>That Mach 1 with it&apos;s 1970, 4V Cleveland Replacement Engine had a Detroit Locker, 9 inch Rear End had either 3:5 something, or 3.7 something Gears!!! <br><br>And honestly, I don&apos;t remember ever losing, a light to light street race, ever!!! <br><br>That was probably the Fastest Muscle Car I&apos;ve ever ridden in, that had All, Factory Spec Part&apos;s, although the Engine was made 3 years earlier, it checked out as having Factory Bore, Stroke, Camshaft and Valve Train parts and measurements!!! <br><br>That Car Honestly Impressed Me more than every other Stock Muscle Car, Built Between The 1970&apos;s, and Late 1980&apos;s!!! <br><br>Which is probably why I&apos;m enjoying this video so much!!! 👍 🙏 <br><br>Thanks <br><br>Just Sayin&apos;🤬

  The XE &nbsp;GW block or pillow block as called in US &nbsp;is a batch of about 200 &nbsp;out of 500 excepted by Ford performance US for race applications produced in Australia the best of the best. Oh and Australia was casting the Cleveland in 1972 not after US stopped .

  Its not a cleveland .y motor it a 289 with Australian cleveland heads with firing order changed in my 70 maverick crazy power

  There are so many inaccurate statements in this video it is ridiculous. &nbsp;The Boss 351 had a solid lifter camshaft, the bore and stroke were the same as the 351W but the 351W had a longer rod so a more favorable side loading,all 351C cranks were nodular iron including the Boss 351, the oiling was not mains priority, the 351 CJ didn&apos;t have domed pistons. &nbsp;I stopped listening so there are likely more.
