He had every right to break the news. They also had every right to not want him around.<br><br>As a journalist, I’d post the news.<br><br>As a business owner, I’d be annoyed he ruined my surprise.

Ariel Helwani is the only journalist in mma. The rest are just content creators and cheerleaders. This is pretty much all sports media.

Man that’s tough to hear Ariel retell the story - you can tell he’s genuinely upset over a sport he loves, not one to make money on. Today’s Ariel is not that guy anymore unfortunately

I am not a Dana fan, but Ariel has had a litany of instances where he displayed journalistic flexibility. He's been known to ignorance-wash information, lob softballs at his "friends", instigate conflicts, etc etc etc.
