  I still vividly remember the owner of Fuji Saku standing outside his restaurant and waiting for customers. He served you with so much passion and love that day, it was infectious. So glad to see him flourish and be recognised. More power to you Asama! Love your content!

  Rather than just saying, ‘Today’s bill is on the house,’ handing over a 0-yen receipt is a really classy touch. <br>It’s a beautiful example of iki — a Japanese sense of elegance, thoughtfulness, and doing something with subtle style rather than making a big show of it.
