George Lucas spent nearly 20 years and about $1 billion of his own money building the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles, and we finally walked inside. Spoiler: this is NOT a Star Wars museum. We're taking you through the whole 700-foot "spaceship" of a building and its galleries. We found a Picasso comic strip, original Where the Wild Things Are watercolors, E. H. Shepard's Winnie-the-Pooh, Frida Kahlo, the Frank Frazetta painting the original Star Wars poster riffs on, and a whole gallery of Banksy. And yes, we found the Star Wars: Luke's screen-used X-34 Landspeeder, Imperial Speeder Bikes, Podracers, Doug Chiang and McQuarrie concept art, and General Grievous's Wheel Bike. But something about the tags on these displays left us with questions, and we get honest about what Star Wars fans should expect before making the pilgrimage.
