  This is one helluva tutorial. &nbsp;Most professional detailing vids concern full-on everything for cars that are paying clients whose cars have a lot of neglect and minimal maintenance needing a full monty...<br>I believe the majority of viewers in this genre are driveway dudes working their own rides. <br>This vid is such sound advice! Maintain your car properly, use solid products, learn to use them well, good technique, dont overwork it, dont overthink it.<br>Shine on you crazy diamonds! 🚘

  There is also Wolfgang Swirl remover that has almost no abrasive and it’s clear coat safe. The more abrasive you use on that compound and going from a white to orange pad to a wool pad and heavy cutting compound you will be eating clear coat. Always get a clear coat meter and don’t chase after each scratch. If you use an orbital machine at a low speed vs a regular DA . You can always get a door hood or car part at a local junk yard and use as a test panel to learn.

  Exceptionally well said..... Been doing this for 45 years.... Taught by my dad who painted cars.<br><br>I also prefer to use chemicals to remove, dissolve, and neutralize paint contaminants versus clay for the exact reason you stated
