There's something here for everyone; no matter your playing style or genre, there’s a setting that covers everything. We also answer the question, “Can P-90 pickups do metal?” Spoiler alert: yes, they can. Dinesh shows you exactly how to dial in your amp for metal when using P-90 guitar pickups, just like Tony Iommi did on those early Black Sabbath classics. You'll also see how to balance your EQ between pickups; no more struggling with a muddy neck pickup or an overly bright bridge—we’ll show you how to get the best tone for your guitar. Dinesh also explains the function of each of the controls on your amp (perfect for beginner players who want to know the difference between bass, treble, middle, gain, presence, etc), how to set up your guitar amp for different tones, and how to fine-tune your EQ depending on the type of pickups you're working with. Whether you're after crystal-clear clean tones or bone-crushing metal tones, Dinesh walks you through the process step-by-step with valuable insights gleaned from decades of guitar playing (and using many amps along the way). After watching this guide on setting up your guitar amp, you’ll know how to dial in your amp for humbuckers, P-90s and single-coil guitars and how to get every sound from a P-90 pickup.
