  If you're wondering why the voice sounds worse than you remember, that's because it is. The voice acting used to be a lot better but they replaced it for some reason, possibly to be consistent with the second game.

  The weirdest thing about Case is that I distinctly remember the VA work being FAR better at one point, and then at some point for no apparent reason, they replaced the VAs and replaced the existing, perfectly fine voice work with this overacted laughing stock of a performance. The player character was nowhere near as cheesy (but still pretty cheesy and one-note) and the villain sounds less like a nerd emoji and actually leaned into the cheesiness of the direction and sounded more like an unhinged maniac that was relishing in the &quot;game&quot; he was playing with Bishop, instead of an angry nerd trying to be scary but coming across as pathetic.<br><br>Obviously no shade to the new VAs, this is almost certainly the fault of the voice direction, but it&apos;s wild how hard they fucked themselves with this choice to change VAs.

  Case is such an interesting (pardon the pun) case of a game out there. Like it so clearly is fnaf-inspired but it basically kinda feels somewhat ashamed of that fact. <br><br>Also the voice acting is fucking hilarious
