  It's really frustrating for us writers, because we were taught to use the em-dash and the rule of threes. Now those are red flags and we have to change up the existing rules to seem real again.

  It's a terrible time to be one of the few people that enjoys writing with semicolons, dashes, oxford commas, etc.

  To be honest, I actually use commas in my normal typing, even in informal things.  I just like how they effect the pauses in speech, to make it mimic how I talk

  you know, using words is a redflag at this point with some folks. next we're gonna hear that perfect spelling, grammar and punctuation is a redflag.

  The bit about how AI writing constantly restates and clarifies itself sounds exactly like how I wrote all my high school essays when I needed to reach that word count. No wonder students are using it.
