Here's a clue: never use a wood cutting board for chicken processing. It's best to use a plastic cutting board which doesn't absorb germs and bacteria. Just because you clean the wood doesn't mean the bacteria was removed. It hides in the pores of the wood. I use a separate cutting board for meats, seafood and veggies.
