I think Anthony will be shedding quite a few tears if he was around now.

I come back to this episode every time an eruption happens in Israel & Palestine. I try not to lose hope but I don't see an end to this catastrophe. I'm grateful for Tony giving Palestinians a voice and a platform.

Anthony was, and still is, my vote for Human Ambassador should we meet aliens. We're all poorer because of his passing. Rest easy, Tony. Thank you for all you did.

Never in my life have I eaten falafel and thought ‘delicious Israeli food.’

I'm kicking myself for not watching this show more often. I remember being obsessed with Anthony Bourdain when I was a kid and I loved watching him. Even as a kid, I connected with what he was doing, which went beyond food. I'm grateful that this man was in the world.

I miss Tony. I don't get attached to TV personalities, but I was shocked and very sad when I heard he passed. Every couple of months I watch his videos and feel happy to see him.

Rip brother.

I love how he made the jews uncomfortable with his questions and statements. He didn't have to say his disapproval of the occupation then, but it's truly palpable in his body language. I miss this guy. I hope he found the peace he was seeking on the other side. ❤

Been a Bourdain fan for over 2 decades. One of the reasons why he has that allure is the way he brings his stories. He is a phenomenal observer. A listener. A chronicler of our troubled times. He doesnt judge, he lets us into these far away distant worlds with people in distress, joy and shares their emotions with us. Bourdain's voiceover provide us with that signature Bourdain view, a mix of irony, wit, dark humour and so much empathy for people, places and cultures. RIP Tony, Thanks for these magnificient documentaries.

Watching this episode now hits different. I remember watching it about 6 years ago and started looking into the history of Palestine, but now all I can think is 'are these children still alive?', 'what is even left for them?', and 'Tony was such a legend for probing things further making people confront their prejudices'.
