In 1990, A-HA made a video for the song "Crying in the rain" in Big Timber, Montana... I was a senior in highschool there at the time, I befriended the band and was a gopher for the director, Steve Barron...it was a pretty cool experience for a punk kid....

During the making of the "come on Eileen" video, the guy playing the bongo got fired. You see him for most the video but not at the end. Thank you pop up videos from VH one channel from the 2000s.

If I recall correctly, Dexys were opening for Bowie at some show or another, in 1983. Kevin Rowlands thought this would be a tremendous opportunity to critique Bowie's "selling out". That didn't go over too big and security removed Dexys from the stage mid-set. After that, doors started to close. Go figure.
