  According to Harlan Ellison himself, he not only, jokingly, described the pornographic story he was going to write, he was reciting portions of it in the character voices when Roy overheard him and immediately had him fired.

  If you want to watch more Wendigoon content I can’t recommend his video on mother horse eyes enough. It’s a series he first started on his podcast but he loved it so much he had to make a video. While it’s on the longer side it’s totally worth it and is maybe one of the most well written stories I’ve ever listened to

  Honestly this story is one of the classic examples of what birthed the trope of the malicious AI. For context this story was released in 67 and 2001 a space Odyssey came out in 68. &nbsp;In two years we had the creations of two of the most iconic EVIL AI characters and I feel without either of these we wouldn’t have skynet or the machines in the matrix or any other of our modern day Ai Villian characters

  I knew a bit about this story before watching tadc and when zooble said &quot;the only thing holding caine back is the fact that he likes us&quot; and my mind went yeah if caine hated you he&apos;d be AM. then ep 8 came out and i was like &quot;i dont like being right&quot;<br>(For a small bit of context i mean no disrespect to either character caine is actually my favorite character from the amazing digital circus bc i relate to him in the way i interpret him. To me caine is like a burnt out gifted kid who only saw their value in their work like i was like when i was younger. And AM is a really well written character imo. I just related to two in my mind bc i really like ai characters who are well written like they are)
