  I can't believe the game about shitting and taking deuces on people as a dog ends with trying to save your girlfriend from literally fucking dying and then witnessing a woman's last desperate cries as she is mutilated by machinery

  Something that always spooked me as a kid was in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team, if you stay on a floor for too long, eventually the music cuts out and you get some ominous text warning you of impending danger. If you remain, eventually it just kicks you out of the dungeon. I was always too scared to find out though.

  The ghost ship in The Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass always scared me playing through it as a child, especially the sisters and their screams

  I don't think the Bearserk boss ever scared me as a kid, rather it was the mini game where you inflate the dig dug enemy to the point of popping

  it’s worth adding that lizbert isn’t the only one to turn into that giant monster - her girlfriend eggabell, the one who led us through the doors before it collapsed and we got stuck in the undersnax, ends up transforming into the same thing as lizbert next to her because she refuses to leave

  I recognized that stupid teddy bear as soon as I saw that thumbnail. That Pac-Man Party stage was decievingly wholesome, and it scared the heck out of little me when he turned evil. My sister had to help convince me that my plushie wasn't going to try to kill me.

  I know there were already a few Twilight Princess entries but, the basement in Link's house in that game scared me alot. There were tons of hoaxes about how you could see dark Link if you stare into the mirror in the dark, so we would just sit there in the dark staring at Link in the mirror in the dark.

  When I was little yo kai watch was my all-time favorite game, but one thing that always freaked me out was terror time, which would happen either late at night or in the early morning. It starts when your character stops along with the music, and then a countdown from 3 appears. Then the character called Garagros appears and will start to hunt you down, and the only way to escape terror time is to find the exit and get there before Garagros catches you. If he catches you, then you're put into a fight against him. The music during this time didn't help either. Terror time still sends chills down my spine to this day just by the sheer nature of it and how it happens.

  I wanted to forget about Dog&apos;s Life, but I guess I asked too much.<br><br>My scary thing in non-horror game would be from the obscure 3D platformer Hugo and the Evil Mirror. The game&apos;s mirror levels have a very uneasy feel as they take place in a black void full of ghosts, living knights and flying books. Each mirror level ends with a boss fight against a creepy head of the main villain Scylla. There&apos;s even a level where her head chases you. If the boss fights against her weren&apos;t ridiculously easy it would be a lot more frightening but I remember not wanting to finish those levels because of how creepy the head was.
