Also, the introduction is slightly different. That is because I have had a bad week and lost my whole iMovie history. Including my introduction and outro… I’m a bit grumpy 😂

Thanks so much for coming along to Lisbon with me this week!
I’m curious… what’s in your plein air kit these days?
Are you a minimalist who packs light, or do you bring half the studio with you like I usually do?

And if you’ve discovered any must‑have tools or clever travel hacks, I’d love to hear them. I’m always tweaking my setup, especially after this trip.

Can’t wait to see what everyone’s carrying around in their sketching bags — it’s always so inspiring.

Hi, do give urban sketching a go. Ignore scary stuff and just measure angles with your pencil and put in the big shapes then subdivide. Art Graf are great.Best wishes.

I started carrying a very minimal art case which was pencil and pad. Then as I learnt the art of finding a place to hide, then I added lots of things.
