The Landmarks expansion (now on Kickstarter) makes this game even more approachable, as well as adding options to add complexity, variability, and depth.

Kevin (one of the designers) also is working on a solo-variant that's supposed to be part of the expansion. There's a development thread with draft rules on BGG if anyone is interested. Tried it the other day and I found it quite enjoyable.

This looks kind of bizarre but it has a short and long version. The short version actually looks fun. Laying the board is something else. It was a good demo from the crew.

That video was so much fun! I enjoy ROTLA a lot, and there’s a solo mode in development that’s pretty doggone good as well.

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dM3DLdImBg&t=5117">1:25:17</a> When Suburban and Expansive merged, the extra Expansive token should have been swapped out for an Experiment token, meaning there are no "free" Experiment tokens--only two that cost 60 each, and one that costs 40.<br><br>Edit: Looks like they eventually figured that out, later on. 😊
