I’m trying this with half butterscotch and half bittersweet chocolate chips.

Oatmeal Scotchies were always in my grandmother’s cookie jar. I haven’t had these in years. Thank you for the wonderful recipe and the sweet memories!❣️

I DO use the extra fine salt! So happy you included that in this video. Though sometimes I just eliminate the salt measurement and use salted butter instead. I know, I know about controlling the amount of salt in recipes. It's just that I love the flavor of salted butter! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your lovely family. 💖 Hi Brian! 👋

These cookies don’t get the recognition they deserve because they aren’t the prettiest cookie, but they are one of the best tasting.

OK, I've made these cookies so many times after reading the recipe for them on the back of a bag of butterscotch chips a few years ago. I sometimes make bars instead of cookies.

I only found preppy kitchen about two months ago. I am loving all John’s recipes and have made quite a few of them already. His videos are the best

I’m so glad there are no raisins. I love oatmeal cookies and so many oatmeal cookie recipes have them. I do like raisins but not in my cookies!
