  Back in 64 Aunt Teen gifted an egg steamer. I still use it to steam hard cooked eggs once or twice a week. 8 at a time so they&apos;re always HB ready. &nbsp;62 years for a Sunbeam egg cooker in constant use. &nbsp;The shells come off easy and go in the Quisinart to powder them. The sharp bits get spread around the rose bushes and fruit trees to kill off the Japanese beetles before they come out of the ground. &nbsp;Onion skins saved to simmer to color handspun wool yarn a good deep yellow or tan or soft yellow depending on how much you saved first. Saved stacks of clean cartons make a nice gift to local households who raise chickens in the yard. &nbsp;They&apos;re expensive to buy, so &quot;recycle-gift&quot; is a good thing. Steam over-easy eggs with 1/2 shell of water in the pan. No flip needed.

  My grandmother was from deep in the Tennessee mountains and I knew a lot of tips you told in this video. My daughters also know these tips as well. So the legacy keeps going.
