  My older brother was such a big Metal Gear fan before he passed away. That being said after rewatching this scene, I now realize that the sword he gave me years ago is the sword Raiden uses in this fight scene.

  The change from Raiden&apos;s body to that of a cyborg was one of the best things that could happen to the character in terms of popularity, since thanks to this we have Metal Gear Rising Revengeance.

  Literally what the fuck was this fight scene. I&apos;ve never seen any other scene anywhere do the shit they got away with in this. Balancing on the hilt of your sword to breakdance at your opponent with a knife between your toes? Calmly shoving a knife through your own heart to retrieve it from your back? Kicking a sword through the air to deflect incoming projectiles, using that recoil to set up more kicks and keep the sword in the air? A backwards split-jump to evade a vertical sword strike? This is the MOST extra swordfight. Just incredible stuff.

  Raiden&apos;s glow up, has got to be the coldest sh*t I&apos;ve seen in my life. When he sheathes his sword, then the visor opens whilst the camera zooms in slowly, and he says, &quot;Snake.... It&apos;s my turn to protect you&quot;, I got chills! Absolutely cold as ice!

  Even without the 4K this game still looks amazing considering this was an early PS3 title.

  This is the best thing that happened to Raiden as a character. But the worst to happen realistically. Having your organic body stripped away is awesome and insane.
