8:47 That is the vampire Neferata that Panc just mentioned. Back in Warhammer Fantasy she became the first vampire ever after she tried to recreate the elixier of immortality that Nagash (Big Skelepope from earlier) made but couldnt get the formula right and so became a vampire.

She was the founder of the Lahmian bloodline of vampires (vampire-KGB as they are often descibed; i.e they specialise in espionage and seduction) as she was the Queen of Lahmia. Lahmia was a territory of Nehekara (Warhammer Fantasy Egypt) which Neferata was the Queen of. She also got several others to drink her botched Elixir of immortality who themselves became the founders of the major bloodlines of the Vampire Counts back in Warhammer Fantasy. Neferata also tried to get her cousin Khalida to become a vampire but Khalida begged the Nehekaran goddess Asaph (Nehekaran goddess of vengeance, poison and snakes [i think]) to kill her and Asaph obliged and then revived Khalida as a mummy. Khalida has since then endlessly tried to kill Neferata for trying to turn her. This obviously never worked but Khalida is such a cool character in her own right.

Also this was all back in Warhammer Fantasy. Age of Sigmar is the successor to Warhammer Fantasy and everything in AoS takes place after the destruction of Warhammer Fantasy - but it is still the same continuity.

33:53 The Nighthaunts are an entire army of just ghosts and revenants. That is it.

If you like vampires and also World of Darkness, I'm gonna take the opportunity to chill Hunter: The Parenting by Bruva Alfabusa and his crew (aka the same people who made "If the Emperor had a Text-to-Speech Device"), as a fan animated series you could do reacts to. Because I always want to support people giving that series more attention.

24:50 The angel you pointed out as a Jump pack is almost right. The Stormcast have actual Angels like Sanginius but they also have lightning powered packs for those without wings. If you see an Angel flying with a Trident that is a Prosecutor and they have mad aim and strength of a throwing arm, and can recall the weapon to their hand after.

34:40 You mention a bride look, that one with the rose thorns around her is Oleander, a women in life who married into nobility and killed her husbands to steal their fortunes but made it look like accidents. She became known as the weeping bride. The little ghosts beside her are her hand maidens. There is a male named Valentine who ran a gang as a "King" who wanted nothing but to steal from the rich as well and hated women as people but not things. In Death, He was made a King as he was forced to marry Oleander by Nagash, putting them both in pure agony as Oleander can't kill her husband and Valentine can't kill and rob his Wife. A match made in hell. The Nighthaunt have many tragic tales for their stories of the different Hero Characters, they even have a Ferry man to carry the souls of the dead to the afterlife. They are all types of evil ghosts, being Banshees, Poltergheists, and other spirits of the damned. One group carries Candelabras and uses them to light peoples souls on fire.

37:43 The Vampires put on a proper nobility look, the Flesh Eater Courts are Zombies that think they are still humans and nobility, being noble Knights, Kings, etc... Even though both work for Nagash they don't like being told by the other what to do. Ushran the Delusional King leads the Courts, and what we see as other humans, they see as undead, what is farm animals for us is monsters to them, and the king enforces the delusions onto his subjects. Even when the king isn't near, the other Nobles of the courts enforce their delusions as well. The Courts have a Royal Decapitor (Executioner) to remove the heads of the living in gruesome old style head on stone chopping block and will remove other zombies heads as well for disobeying the king. They were the entrails, spines, and body parts as fashion, as a faction they are disguisting but in a way that makes you want to see all you can find on the models. I painted an Arch Regent recently and didn't notice that they put a giant railroad spike through his chest to hold his armor in place until I started painting him.

1:07:40 That skinned bat is an Undead giant bat called a Royal Terrorgheist and they are just as scary as their Zombie Dragon counterpart.

I Play both 40k and AoS, but AoS has my heart more cause I like Fantasy more than Sci Fi. Best Faction in my opinion from AoS is the Kharadron Overlords which is a group of Sky Pirate Dwarves that act as Mercs for hire. They mine in the clouds, have gunships and some pretty awesome models for them. Their leader Brokk has guns in his mustache and wears a Top Hat. I've currently been working through getting the army built and painted for my 4th army. I started with Ironjawz Orks (Orruks in Sigmar) and also have Skaven and Stormcast Eternals which are all fun as well. I'd suggest checking out the other AoS factions and seeing the fun side to the fantasy. 40k players even complain that we get some of the better model designs as well.

16:05 That is Lauka Vai, dubbed the Mother of Nigthmares. She is the head of the Avengorii-dynasty of Soulblights. The Avengorii are the dynasty who are the most suseptible to/ use the beastial nature the most of all the bloodlines and are thus hated and shunned by others.

Edit: NVM she was explained later.

I cannot blame you for looking at Age of Sigmar first. They have some of the best models GW has produced.

But if you're interested in the vampire threads in Warhammer Fantasy, I highly suggest a few subjects PancreasNoWork has made videos out of:

*Warhammer Fantasy factions: a nice general introduction to Warhammer Fantasy
*Nagash: the Bone Pope himself, (shown at 6:07 ) and the creator, both intentionally and unintentionally, of all the undead factions.
*Types of vampire: different flavors of bloodsucker, from the Blood Dragons ( 2:37 ) to Ushoran's malformed Strigoi ( 10:18 , Ushoran is the big hunched-backed model bottom-center)
*Mannfred von Carstein: THE WORST ( 18:14 )

38:41 Those are Isabella von Carstein and Vlad von Carstein, two of the most prominent vampires from Warhammer Fantasy (though back theere they were just historical characters as they "lived" hundreds of years before the modern setting. Vlad von Carstein is the progenitor of the Von Carstein-bloodline. Nack in Warhammer Fantasy they were the classical Vampire Aristocracy.

Also Vlad and Isabella are a married couple. When they were "alive" they were a functional and happily married couple despite the fact that for the first years of their relationship Isabella was still a mortal and Vlad turned her hesitantly, fearing her becoming a vampire would change her greatly from who she was.
