To clarify the story confusion: In Hazbin, part of Lucifer's punishment in Hell is that he can't harm sinners. He can still create and destroy demons himself (called hellborn, to distinguish them from sinners), but he's pretty much just stuck putting up with sinners. This isn't public knowledge, so he tried to threaten Vox without knowing at the time that Vox had already found out about this.

The titles of both songs make the phrase "Vox populi vox Dei" which means "the voice of the people is the voice of God"

Im german and when i first heard the furor/ führer line i got such a massive chill down my spine. The double meaning and delivery of the Voice actor is insane. I had to do a double take and had a "he did not just say that" - reaction in shock. Vox Dei is probably my fav with losing streak, seras confession and clean up

In “Vox Dei” the backup vocals aren’t just chanting they are singing “Praise Vox” it’s very effective at creating this uneasy feeling
