  When my dad played Dead Space, he was investigating a bedroom with a mutilated corpse on the bed. Then the alarm clock on the nightstand started blarring and he dropped the controller. And as he was about to leave the bedroom his own alarm clock right next to him started blarring, but this time he was so shocked that he had to stop playing. This jumpscare was so advanced, that it project itself into real life.

  I kind of expected to see the one in Alien: Isolation where, after spending most of the game hiding and outwitting the Xenomorph, you come across a room where the light suddenly comes on to reveal a prop that conveniently looks like to Xenomorphs standing back to back.

  I remember watching my dad play Bioshock and one part there was a teddy bear on a little stand, he hit the bear being funny only to turn around and see a enemy right behind him. Not part of the game just a well timed moment that happen to scare us good.
