The real Pokemon community IS wholesome. The one made up of actual fans. I’ve only ever had positive experiences with them and they genuinely love to help each other win and get packs at retail. The scalpers ruining the entire hobby who probably can’t even tell you who Pikachu is don’t count as the “community”.

I have stood in lines for the first time to get product to open with my siblings and people have been so nice to talk with so far. I know some are scalpers, but the guys there that also open the packs and care about the tcg are awesome.
