It is so hard to grieve for a person that is still alive. Prayers.

My husband is near end of life with Lewy Body dementia. It’s been quite a journey. I have so many people praying for us, I know that is the ONLY reason I’m able to handle what’s happening. I will be in prayer for you and Jason, and I hope all your viewers will join me in prayer lifting you both up in prayer

My husband died at 35 yrs old of lung cancer. For 6 months I saw him die a little every day. I grieved every day. When he died my first emotion was relief--because what I had dreaded for 6 months finally happened. My heart goes out to you both! Be sure and take care of yourself! He is so lucky to have you!!

Hi sweeties, my hubby which had a lot of similarities to Jason. He left to be in his heavenly home after 6-7 years of having dementia, a couple of days ago…He no longer could talk, feed himself, go to the bathroom and walk and etc… it was Gods timing to come and get him…and I miss him more than anything in the world.
I just wanted to say thank you two for your bravery and boldness in sharing this season of yours with the world!
Leslie and Jason, thank you again, for the information and the company you provided me during these hard times. May God Bless You and keep you, make His face shine upon you! In His Love, Marilyn

Nobody understands this disease until they live with a loved one who has it. Yes, dementia presents itself in a myriad of ways. None of them are easy. My heart goes out to both of you.

Leslie, I am a woman in my mid sixties and want to emphasize that I am happily married before I say this. . . . I love you girl! Your faith, your attitude and the way you handle life is beyond amazing. Your love for Christ shines through! I am soooo sorry you are going through this seemingly never ending journey with Jason. God, we pray for Leslie that you continue to give her wisdom in this situation, peace in the struggle and her love for life to stay present. I know we don’t get used the way we choose but encourage Leslie and let her know she is spreading hope and love to those who may not know you! Give Leslie the endurance she needs to finish the race. In Jesus name, Amen
