  I don&apos;t have a timing answer for the young lady at the start of this episode...but this quote was helpful for me and eventually became true: <br>“You let time pass. That&apos;s the cure.   Cooper thanks for allowing me to comment. To both of you, I&apos;m sorry for your losses. I hope someday we will be able to reunite with our loved ones. No parent or child is perfect. My mom never said I love you. I didn&apos;t either. But she hugged me every time and she blessed me. I was gone to the military. She never shared anything about her life. She was 69. Her whole life is a mystery to me.😢😢😢

  There is no timeframe on your grief. My mother died in 1981 and my precious stepmother who is only 36 died in 1977. I was 23 and she was 28 when my elderly father went and brought her from a foreign country and married her and she was pregnant. I loved her dearly. She was like a sister and I still grieved them and I just lost my sister in September of the last year and I grieve or even more because she was younger than I am and I am just missing these beautiful people not to mention the other siblings that I’ve already passed. Then I dearly loved so there is no timeframe. They are the tapestry with which your life is made of whether they are here or in spirit.❤

  My amazing, beautiful dad died 6 years ago and I&apos;ve found this year to be the hardest so far. Literally everything brings tears 💔

  I remember my teacher at Georgian Court College. Her name was Sister Maria. I was taking a course on The Canterbury Tales and the class discussion went in the direction of grief. I will never forget what she said, “You get used to never get used to it.” I carry that with me.

  I lost my parents in 2016 &amp; 2022. Just before dad passed he had my younger brother and i go through 50+ years of the past. Including my grandparents things. It was a enlightening, devastating, and mind blowing experience. We had 5 days to go thorough many decades. We separated things 3 ways. The rest was in a 4 ton garbage bin because dad couldnt handle it. After almost 4 years. I live in their one home. I feel sometimes I feel them here. There are still pieces here, pictures etc. But all in all, maybe it was best we did what we did. It helped us move forward. But my biggest take away. Make sure you have all your &quot;ducks&quot; in order before you go. Have decisions made with your parents how you want things handled, and make sure trusts are in place if needed. I have learned so much, and I made my intentions clear. I also have taken steps to lessen my kids burdens. Especially a &quot;cleanout&quot;. Because I want them to remember only the joy, not the sadness.
