One of the most significant aircraft in the history of aviation, both in commercial and military deployments. The sound of those radial engines and squeal of the tyres hitting the runway on landing is something really special. Great posting for ANZAC day.

My first ever flight was in a TAA DC3 in 1960 as a 'TAA Junior Flyer'.. I have treasured that flight all my life. I wonder who else in the columns was one of those fortunate young people. (My main career was in aviation, thanks to that opportunity)..
