  I have a genuinely diabolical video idea. Take a recent or unreleased deck that’s extremely complex (the new Enneacraft stuff sounds perfect for this because it’s so confusing that he might believe that it’s strong as shit) and gaslight CGB into thinking that Tearlament has been beaten and we are now in the midst of the newest and strongest tier 0 meta in YGO history. Make up a fake banlist Konami had to do to limit the deck’s power and score him accordingly before telling him it was fake at the very end.

  I think the best way to explain Brilliant Fusion is that: for a long time, for most decks, in order to do all the crazy special summoning, you had to stick the normal. The normal summon was the choke point for a lot of decks. So BF was saying: &quot;Here&apos;s a second 1 for free. Also here&apos;s follow up. Oh, here&apos;s some material too. Matter of fact, lemme clean your house. Would you like me to wash your car while im at it?&quot; And the more you dug in, the more insane it became. The reason its restricted now is because you dont need your normal summon nowadays. But notice that its <b>restricted</b> . Just because you dont need it, doesnt mean its not a crazy extender if you can casually open it.

  The context CGB is missing for brilliant fusion is, especially so at the time, the most powerful effects in the game were often tied to normal summons in order to limit how many of the most powerful monster effects were happening in one turn. Obviously the pace of the game had made this a little different these days but the game played out like this for quite a lengthy period of time.

  For context on Utopia Double, the main character of the Yugioh Zexal anime used Utopia and one of his signature combos was negating his own attack and using Double or Nothing to beat over a big monster (he used this combo to defeat the big bad of the final season). So Utopia Double was created as a reference to the anime.

  In magic lands are the most famous garnets in the late game. There is a reason why decks play the least amount of lands necessary and they also play fetch lands to decrease the chance of drawing lands later in the game.

  CGB doesn&apos;t get the difference between a powerful in-archetype effect that the archetype is balanced around having, and a generic effect that can be included in any deck.

  I think the reason they printed Pot of Generosity is pretty clear: it&apos;s a joke that its the exact opposite of Pot of Greed.<br><br>Now if Konami came out and said that they somehow expected it to be playable; then we could have a discussion. But realistically; they knew that this was useless, and they 100% made it just for the lols. (Though its existence <b>did</b> end up resulting in Pot of Duality and Prosperity; so I guess you can say it had a point in the end XD)

  I really think Cimo should tell CGB WHEN the card was released EVERY TIME for him to better be able to evaluate the card. Love your collabs so much, I use them as like podcasts every time, keep up the good work!
