  Im a crocheter and have never watched your channel before this just to let you know how interesting this is. I dont have money to buy yarn rn but if you start doing deadstock stuff id be going to you first when i got money.

  Thank you for bringing up this topic, Gabriela! I live in Türkiye and deadstock yarn is actually very widely used here. We even have shops where you can go and pick them out in person. Personally, I&apos;m obsessed with these high-quality yarns—I’ve got kilos of yarn on cones at home. My motto is: better in my stash than sitting in a factory! 😅 Knitting and stash-building truly are two separate hobbies.<br>​<br>Plus, another perk of using cones is never having to spit-splice or join a new ball of yarn mid-project. You get endless meters of yarn, allowing you to knit seamlessly until you decide to cut the strand<br><br>In my opinion, the only issue with cones is that some yarns manufactured for industrial use are extremely thin, so they have to be multi-stranded (multi-plied) for hand knitting. Since they aren&apos;t twisted together, these strands can sometimes split while knitting. Because of that, I think it can be quite challenging for beginners.

  I’m in the US, and I haven’t been knitting very long, however if a retail shop could supply this stuff, I’d be all over that. &nbsp;Thanks for making me a bit smarter. ❤ Just subscribed to hear more. &nbsp;😊
