4:22 could Martyn have had a reprieve if he had contested the catch? Phil Simmons doesn’t appear to have control over the ball as he tries to throw it up in the air. It goes down to the ground instead of up - much like the infamous Herschelle Gibbs catch in the 1999 World Cup semifinal.

Damn Ian Healy was lucky with the Richardson catch, it clearly bounced

Bloody selectors stuffed up, Dean Jones should have stayed in the side as with his experience it could have been the diiffernce and Australia would have better chance of winning the series.

Aus were already a slightly better side by 93, especially in Aussie conditions.

In the 5 match series Aus were better in 2 matches and nearly won or did win.. THey could have easily won in first brisbane test. Then did win and went 1-0 up in second Melbourne test.

Third Sydney test easna run fest. Then 4th match at Adelaide was even contest and anyone could have won. WI won in the end.

The Perth match was singular because of the surface. Extra pace ( even by Aus standards ) and extra height of WI pwcement especially suited for perth surface meant WI blew away Aus.

But until then both teams were evenly matched in 2 games. And Aus was better in 2.
