  I remember cutting out all that character art from Nintendo Power and other magazines to make my own comics as a kid. This video just reminded me of doing all that. Good stuff!

  Also the arcade game was originally developed in 1992 and the Toads we’re originally going to cuss and the Brian chase level was originally going to be in the arcade game <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7uqC3FuTDi0&amp;t=731">12:11</a>

  The turbo tunnel really is the biggest shot in the foot for the first game, mostly for being just so early in it. &nbsp;It&apos;s brutal difficulty kept a lot of people from seeing all the other gameplay varieties it had after it. &nbsp;I mean tons of games we played back then were intentionally difficult but that one particular level in little ol&apos; Battletoads just kicked it up that extra notch into controller-snapping frustration territory.

  Despite the lack of &quot;new-ness&quot; the SNES version is my favorite regardless. I just enjoy the upgraded sounds and visuals over the original. &nbsp;The changed style just had more impact than the NES, no matter how iconic it may be to the majority of players. &nbsp;I&apos;m standing by that.

  Blister would be a good name for, like, a rival Battletoad, and I&apos;m honestly a little shocked they never did that.

  I don’t think it’s that it hasn’t aged well, more like it never got easier or changed over time. Think it will always be what it is, still great video.

  As a kid I wasn&apos;t gamer, so I didn&apos;t know that people really love battletoads,I thought game is more remembered because of brutal difficulty. I was surprised how many people didn&apos;t like last game because it &quot;wasn&apos;t brawler&quot;, but older games was mix of different genres too, not just brawler. But yeah,Interesting video as always!
