  I'm a 45 year veteran of the Japanese horsepower wars of the 70's and 80's. I have restored 6 V65 hondas and still have two first Gen Vmax bikes. Plus a 2002 VTX 1800. I'm humbled and in shear amazement of this man.  I'm just thankful that I got to live in his era. Thank you Allen.

  I’m one of the 1 in a hundred. There is a precious feeling of wonder upon realising what you are looking at when you come across one of his bikes at your local classic meet.

  The bike I would want is none of these, but is his V-twin Velocette, without doubt the most perfect bike he has built.

  I first heard of Allen Millyard back when I had a 1980 KZ 1300, and it was the same color as the V-12 Kawasaki that he built. <br><br>My KZ was the best and most awesome bike that I ever had, and it was one I had wanted since they first came out. But when I saw the V-12 Kawasaki that Millyard built, I KNEW that IT was what Kawasaki SHOULD have made in the first place. IT just looks so perfect, and while the inline six sounds great, I&apos;m sure that the V-12 sounds even better! <br><br>Allen Millyard is a genius, and one of the heroes of motorcycling history.

  His v twin Velo is the most practical.I once saw an article in a motorcycle magazine of I think it was a New Zealand bloke who had built a l,ooo cc Velocette out of 2 singles.He had it attached to a side car.Perhaps you could trace it? Alan is a genius with a special skill.
