  My brother fell down this pipeline of hustling and grinding and working all the time. It ended up affecting his mental health tremendously and he committed suicide. It’s funny to make fun of these guys but it’s such a huge red flag. “You’re sad? Go to work” is such a horrible mindset and doesn’t allow for any self help or reflection or personal relationships that people need to survive. It’s sad to see impressionable young men being preached to that they’re a failure or not “high value” enough for not hustling or grinding 24/7.

  Notice how once he “became a millionaire” the money that his girlfriend put into their relationship/living didn’t mean anything. <br>Also, not acknowledging that her cooking and cleaning is still labor regardless of whether she has a traditional 9-5 or not makes it obvious how he was raised and what people told him was important.

  People don&apos;t want to acknowledge the massive role luck plays because it makes them feel like they don&apos;t &quot;deserve&quot; their success or that they can&apos;t simply attribute their success to only themselves. Our culture constantly bombards us with the idea that the poor are responsible for their fate just like the rich are, when neither is remotely true. But if we acknowledge this, then it partially invalidates the rich&apos;s claims to their riches, and they don&apos;t want that.

  This boy was reliant or at the very least semi-reliant on his girlfriend a year ago when they were splitting rent and sharing a car, and now he has the audacity to pretend he’s better than her and has the right to control her? <br>I hope she gets out of there so fucking fast. She doesn’t deserve that shit.
