  As an egyptian, whenever I see how the coptic orthodox church grew so much bigger and better outside of Egypt,<br>I immediately thank god for what he did through our great pope shenouda ||| ❤️<br>If it wasn&apos;t for what god did through him, there wouldn&apos;t be any and literally any place for orthodox outside of Egypt

And for us (and I humbly speak also for my beloved Orthodox brothers and sisters) &nbsp;that Church is not about “what I like” or “what makes me feel good.” It’s not a social club, not a community center, not a place to network. The Church is the Mystical Body of Christ, the Bride of Christ, the place where heaven touches earth through the sacraments. Its mission is to bring us into union with God - not just emotional satisfaction which is the very thing Jamie is unknowingly confused about from what I see here. <br>What you have to understand is when you say “what I look for in a church” and list things like “young people/common interests,” it basically reveals a consumer mindset: “What suits me?” “What gives me the community vibe I want”. You’re not supposed to treat church like something to shop for. If you prioritise community/comfort before God, you’re not really seeking God first. &nbsp; God is not found by preference, He is worshipped as He commands. <br>I’m not saying community doesn’t matter, it does, and it can help someone grow in faith 100%. We aren’t supposed to be Christians alone. But you have to know that it isn’t the foundation. It’s the fruit of genuine worship, not the starting point. In Catholicism and also Orthodoxy, the order is always God first (communion with Him through Word and Sacrament), and community second. I pray you find this truth, God bless 💛

  &quot;What I was looking for in a Church.&quot; Respectfully and I say this with love, that&apos;s where you Protestants are going wrong. It&apos;s not about you and your own will. It&apos;s about obedience to Christ and His Church. We do not deserve His forgiveness, we are unworthy. It&apos;s about living the Faith through the sacraments of the Church and destroying your pride to only serve our Lord&apos;s will. Following His commandments through love and humility.   I love Coptic church for they strong faith against persecution happens for them in history till today and how they hold in they faith <br>I born Muslim and a saw jesus many times I accept him as lord and saviour whom loved me more than himself love to share good news about beautiful jesus who make people life heaven on earth <br>Your presence is heaven to me love this song <br>I go this church ❤
