It’s always been astounding to me that Moroni wrote some of the most hopeful and inspiring words in the Book of Mormon… while he was entirely alone. Unsure of whether he had long to live. Yet this was his gift. No fear, no anxiety, no feeling sorry for himself. Just a pure testimony and love for his Savior and his Father in Heaven. Maybe on Moroni day we could write something hopeful about our own future ❤

I love this! So wonderful! The history of a holiday was originally a holy day, it has just evolved over time into a holiday.

In a month so full of grief, it is good to commemorate the men who lived and died and came again, doing so much good will toward men - The Savior and His Angels.

So good! Thanks for the ideas on what ways we can celebrate Moroni Day. Tying it to Yom Kippur to concentrate on a celebration of repentance was inspired.

My favorite example of Mormon's love for Moroni is in Moroni 8. Before he gets to the meat of his epistle, Mormon expresses an enormous amount of love for his son in the opening verses.

I just marked Moroni Day in my calendar to repeat every year!! I love that idea! It's also my Grandma's birthday so that makes it extra special for me. Love listening to you two and your guests as well. I really appreciate the research you both do on many interesting and controversial topics. Thanks so much for addressing some of the most difficult topics in Church History and the Saints in the early days of the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ for us Latter Day Saints. I've recommended your podcasts to everyone I know, even those that are not members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

I first thought of reading Moroni 10 on Moroni Day. I can do that myself. I think I will introduce the 22 commandments of Moroni to my family on Moroni Day 2026.

This is awesome! Even the day on my calendar for September 21says it's Peace Day! I love all of these coincidences! ❤ I love how he put his father's name on the Book of Mormon. Base!!!
