The random "LNE34472222" thing is actually translated from the record breaking run of the LNER's A3 locomotive, 4472 'Flying Scotsman'. "LNERA4468", likewise, is for the A4 locomotive, 4468 'Mallard' which holds the world speed record for steam locomotion, which it achieved in 1938.

20:55 fun fact: it was a joke in England when James one/six took the throne, that Elizabeth was a king and now they have a queen

I think “Henry VIII’s arrest by England” is a mistranslation of how Henry VIII arrested his father’s ministers when he became King.

I like the ones that are "technically correct" like the "Over 30 women could now vote" when it should have been "Women over 30 could now vote" - but it's still technically not wrong.

I'm surprised Chris forgot that He was mentioned earlier in the video when He succeeded Edward as Prime Minister for alcoholism.

The “Ice Monster” in 1810 is talking about Mary Anning, an early paleontologist and the inspiration for the old tongue twister “She sells seashells”. In 1810 she found the first complete Ichthyosaur. Which must have been mistranslated into “Ice Monster”

I loved York. I was there when I was 20 and had tea in the shambles and a conversation with a charming little old man. York Minster gave me shivers. So beautiful.

These make me laugh so hard I acually start to cry. Being how I'm the history buff of my family, I'm pretty sure they can hear me when I come over to visit and watch these with my sister downstairs.
